Certified EMDR Therapist
Brooke is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 20 years experience working with adult women, children, adolescents and teens in the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids area. She graduated from Drake University with a Master of Science in Community Counseling and Master of Science in Education in K-6 School Counseling. She is a Certified EMDR Therapist, Registered Play Therapist and is a member of the EMDR International Association, American Counseling Association and Association for Play Therapy. Her specialties include EMDR and/or Christian counseling with play therapy and women’s issues. She is trained to help clients with complex family dynamics such as abuse, divorce & blended families, self-esteem, caregiver stress, and grief & loss. Brooke also seeks out added training to strengthen her professional development and skills.
Christine Erickson MA, LMHC, NCC
Certified EMDR Therapist
Christine is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been practicing as a therapist for over 20 years having graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology. She is a National Certified Counselor, a Certified EMDR Therapist and she is a member of both the American Counseling Association and the EMDR International Association. Christine is trained in Prolonged Exposure for PTSD and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia. Her clinical specialties include PTSD and complex trauma. She also enjoys helping clients establish healthy boundaries in relationships, improving depression and anxiety, and assisting clients to cope with challenging life transitions such as divorce and career changes. Christine has always been a learner, participating regularly in professional consultation and attending professional trainings.
Outside the office Christine enjoys being outdoors and exercising, is an enthusiastic reader, and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
